Meet Dr. Kendal Lin
Periodontist
Dr. Kendal Lin has extensive education at institutions such as the University of Virginia, the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and Harvard University where she earned a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology. Outside of work, Dr. Kendal enjoys time with her dogs, traveling, taking yoga classes, and cooking.
The Professional Side
Dr. Kendal grew up in Virginia and attended the University of Virginia. Dr. Kendal’s dental journey began with a long history of fear of the dentist, which transitioned to curiosity and ultimately a passion for practicing dentistry.
In order to pursue this passion, she received her dental training at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. At the University of Pittsburgh, one of Dr. Kendal’s proudest achievements was leading a mission trip to rural Honduras to provide dental treatment to underserved communities. Dr. Kendal continued her dental education and training at Harvard where she completed her periodontology residency and earned a Master of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology. As a treatment philosophy, Dr. Kendal adopts a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing nutritional counseling and the oral-systemic health connection.
The Personal Side
Dr. Kendal enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Dexter and Brody. An avid dog lover, she often explores new trails with her dogs. Additionally, Dr. Kendal loves traveling, taking yoga classes, and cooking.
